Update from Africa!
Boaz M was seen on 08/06/2010 by Mary, who is a representative of The Hotcourses Foundation in Africa. The following report was made:
Boaz is 9 ½ years old. He is class 4 at Flama Junior Academy. His best subject is C.R.E. (Christian Religious Education). He was position 10 out of 49 pupils. He is bright and well-expressed too. He class teacher is Tr. Mutiso and his favourite teacher is Tr. Anne his C.R.E. (Christian Religious Education) teacher. He likes to play football. He lives with his father; his sister and brother live in the countryside called Mugunga. He helps his father to fetch water, make the house and clean utensils. He requested for text and exercise books, biros and pencils. Boaz would like to be a tractor driver digging big gardens for his clients in future.

Boaz is 10 years old. His mother died in 2001. He lives with his father and sister, who is HIV-, in one room. Boaz’s father is HIV+ and has been unable to find work. Boaz has been on the Lea Toto programme since February 2006 and is taking prophylactic medicine Septrine. His favourite subjects at school are Social Studies and CRE. He would like to become a doctor. Boaz loves PE, jumping and drawing. His father says he is a great talker.
